Lineup each night
Goalies show their chance of starting
Pick who plays each seat. A night you change is kept as you set it — the matchup, totals and best adds all use it — until you reset it. Picking someone already in the lineup swaps the two.

Open roster spots
Seats your roster cannot fill on each night — the games an add would actually add.
Planned moves
An add counts from its night; the player dropped plays until the night before. Change a night to move the transaction.
Move reminders
A notification on this device when a planned move is due, with a link to the player on Yahoo.
Goaltending this week
Goals against, shots against and saves come off Yahoo’s matchup page even when your league does not score them — scrape the score on the Matchup tab and these fill themselves in. GAA is used to work out the minutes played.

Transaction Results
What each pickup did once he arrived, what the player dropped for him would have done, and the weeks a move decided.
How this is worked out
- A move is a pickup and the player dropped for him — one add/drop, or a drop and an add by the same team within a day. Trades are left out: Trade Results judges them.
- The pickup counts from his first night on the roster until he left, and only on nights Yahoo had him in a starting slot and he played. Nights he played on your bench count as games, not production.
- The dropped player counts on the same nights, from NHL game data, only when a spot he could fill was open: the pickup’s own starting slot, an empty slot, or a starter’s who had no game. Otherwise he would have sat.
- A week’s swing takes the pickup’s line off the real week totals, puts the dropped player’s on, and scores every category against that week’s opponent again. A tie counts half a category.
- A start the dropped player could not have made is not left empty: a teammate who played on your bench that night and could fill the slot takes it, and his line counts in the week without the move.
- A move counts in the week it was made, and in the week ahead for a pickup made on the Saturday or Sunday before it, kept and started there. A pickup held longer is your player after that: a team’s week shows what he still did, but it does not count, so old moves never pile up on anyone’s weeks.
- A team’s week is scored once with all of that week’s moves undone together, so a category two moves helped win counts once.
Trade Results
Every trade this season, ranked: what each side got, what it gave away would have done instead, and the categories that changed, week by week since.
How this is worked out
- Each trade has two sides, one per team: the players it got and the players it gave. Draft picks are listed but not scored.
- A player received counts on nights Yahoo had him in a starting slot and he played. Nights on the bench count as games, not production.
- A player sent away counts his line wherever he played — on another fantasy team, or from NHL game data on none — but only on nights a spot he could fill was open on the team that traded him: a received player’s starting slot, an empty slot, or a starter’s who had no game. Otherwise he would have sat.
- A start no player sent away could have made is not left empty: a teammate who played on the bench that night and could fill the slot takes it.
- A side is judged from the trade until the last player it got is gone — whatever happened after that is the next move’s doing. A side that got only picks, or let its players go before they played a night for it, is judged to now. Unlike a pickup, a trade counts in every week since, not just the week it was made.
- Each week’s matchup is scored again without the trade. In a week the two teams played each other, both sides are undone. A tie counts half a category.
- A team’s numbers score all its trades in effect each week together, so a category two trades helped win counts once.
